The leaves are turning now, and we've had nearly a week of genuine
Fall weather. Cold enough for coats and hats in the mornings and tea
during the day. Isaiah and I have been collecting leaves on the way to and from school, then painting them into creatures before bedtime. I've taped the best to our door; we plan to have a few more of the leaf-ghosts up for Halloween.
